Dimitar Rashkov

Born in 1954 in Karlovo, Bulgaria. In 1981 graduated sculpture in the National Art Academy, Sofia. He has 50 individual exhibitions and 7 prizes for his works – and also “Silver Vazrazdane” - special awards for sculpture . Lives and works in Karlovo. From 1981 to 1985 he was a teacher in “Kazanlak” Arts College. From 1986 to 1992 he was a chief artist working for the municipality of Karlovo. Since 1997 he has been a manager of the Karlovo Public Gallery.
